Political Transformation

The FES fosters dialogue between democratic forces with the aim of balancing interests, resolving conflicts and designing policy options. In this process we cooperate with partners from various societal groups and organizations, with the aim of fostering the understanding for the benefits of social democracy and political reform. 

Furthermore, FES conducts seminars to strengthen young political leaders’ understanding of European, German, Palestinian, Israeli, and international politics in cooperation with our partners. The FES also enables multi-party delegations of Palestinian decision-makers and representatives to the German Bundestag and EU institutions, with the aim of providing a deeper insight in the structure and function of the German parliamentary system as well as the supranational EU system, giving them the opportunity to exchange experiences and perspectives with their colleagues and voice their demands in a safe and productive environment.
